The cloud
Big bubbles are our six threads. Small ones are the events, ideas and projects round them. Bigger means more visits tapped it. Tap any bubble.
Tap a bubble to see what it is and how many visits touched it.
- Tapped at least once
- Waiting for its first tap
- Someone said "I'm in"
Every bubble, in words
Meet the crew
Neighbours who joined the experiment, by their secret names. Never real names, and never where or when they'll be.
How we count
- Only counts. No names, no faces, nothing anyone typed. Nobody is shown here.
- Neighbours who join the experiment get a made-up secret name on their phone, like Plucky Hare 15 (never their real name), so we know which taps belong together and when someone comes back. It's one per phone or laptop, so someone who joins on both shows up twice. What we keep.
- For everyone else, a visit is one page view, or for older taps, one stretch of tapping with no break over 20 minutes. Tapping a button ten times in one visit counts once.
- Our own visits, as the three people who run this, are left out where we can tell they're ours. "Devices" comes from our visit counter and can't tell us apart, so it includes us.
- Counting from 28 October, when the hello page went up.
- More on what we keep and why: privacy.
