What if Godalming had a bit more va va voom?
Times are changing. We can choose to hang on in there and keep talking about it. Or… move with it. Va va voom. Moving towards what is good, true and beautiful, and having fun doing it along the way.
See things a bit differently from everyone else?
Quietly the odd one out at the dinner party?
Maybe this is your place. Have a poke around ↓
A bunch of Godalming people getting stuck into projects that make our town more creative, more resilient and more ours.
Empty shop windows. Fields eyed up for houses. Bills that only go one way. Rivers full of cr@p.
We keep being told it's an emergency, and most days it doesn't feel like one.
So this is a quieter kind of change. We could moan about it, or we could get going. Doing it now costs less than doing it later.
And doing it together is a lot more fun.Six threads of what we get stuck into, with play at the heart, solarpunk tech running through it all, and something bigger holding the lot.

We play with the highs. We sit with the lows.
This isn't about doing more and more. It's about knowing when to stop, breathe, regroup and come back down to earth.
We can only build far, and build well, from a good place. So we follow the seasons, the moon and our own energy. Some weeks we make things happen. Some weeks we rest and let things settle.
Doing things that matter, and being part of something bigger.
Loving, being loved and belonging somewhere.
Trying things at your edge and feeling properly alive.
Being seen and heard as exactly who you are.
The four forces stand on what we believe. And all of it sits inside something bigger than us.
After Trish Blain's Four Forces of Everything.
Six things we get stuck into, with play at the heart, solarpunk tech running through the lot, and something bigger holding it all.
Underneath it all, three things we carry from circle: curiosity, presence and agency. Listen for what's behind the words, speak with intention, and look after the whole group, yourself included.
This isn't for you if…
Still reading? Good sign.
A few questions, one at a time. No right answers. Take your time, it helps you work out whether this is for you. After that, we may be in touch.
We read every one of these properly. If it feels alive, we may be in touch.
Until then, go do something just to see what happens.
Thanks for being honest. That's very much in the spirit of the thing. If it ever starts to feel alive for you, the door's still here.
We'll have a look, and if it's alive, it'll show up on the board. Fancy another?
